Exfoliating Body Scrubs
This is a homemade scrub made with brown sugar as the exfoliant,
combined with organic oils, aloe vera, vitamin E, and essential oils of your choice.
I recommend peppermint and rosemary oils for their uplifting, energizing qualities.
This is a wonderful way to exfoliate and eliminate the dead skin cells, increase circulation, replenish moisture, and soften the skin at the same time. ($30)
Chocolate Facial Mask
Cocoa
powder, which is what chocolate is made of, is a wonderful and powerful
antioxidant. It protects the skin and gets rid of the free radicals
that cause significant damage to skin layers .
Not
only is this homemade chocolate facial mask an excellent moisturizer that leaves
your skin soft and glowing, it's sweet smell also helps stabilize your mood by
initiating serotonin release. It is very rejuvenating and helps you
feel more at peace, happy, and relaxed. ($10)
Mud Wrap
The mud wrap (using Fuller's Earth Cosmetic Clay) is great for
softening the skin, increasing hydration, promoting deep relaxation,
and removing toxins. You will be securely wrapped in several warm layers after the mud is applied.
Reiki and a scalp massage will be performed while the mud is drying. For those of you who aren't familiar with Reiki, Reiki is a Japanese "hands on" technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. In other words, it's just me sending you lots of love and positive energy, which is POWERFUL stuff! Check out this amazing youtube video...

After the mud is removed, it is followed with a
skin toner and moisturizers to lock in the smoothness that this body
wrap gives to the skin. ($40)
Seaweed Wrap
This procedure is similar to the mud wrap, only instead using seaweed clay.
A couple
of facts about the wonders of seaweed: Seaweeds actually provide more
than half of the Earth's oxygen, being one of the most primary life
sources.
Through osmosis, seaweed absorbs many great vitamins & minerals from the ocean...copper, iron, potassium, zinc, and iodine; all of which are very healthy for us. Our body's composition is similar to seawater, so seaweed is a welcoming product for our skin!
Along with being extremely relaxing, a seaweed wrap can stimulate your circulation, rid the body of toxins, relieve aches and pains, tighten the skin, and leave an overall smooth and supple feeling. ($40)
*The mud and seweed wraps are recommended for people that like the feeling of being cocooned or swaddled, but not for people that are clausterphobic.*
Facial Steamer
Essentially, facial steams cause the skin to perspire, allowing pores to open up and breathe.
Dirt, oil and grime, which can easily clog the pores and lead to
breakouts, blackheads and other imperfections, are deeply cleansed as
the steam penetrates the face.
Steam also revives tired skin, removes toxins and improves circulation.
Though primarily used as a skin care technique, the facial steam is
equally beneficial in relieving stress and cold symptoms.
Essential oil of your choice can be added to enhance your experience! ($5)
Paraffin Bath
Paraffin has been laboratory tested to be hygienically safe to
use. It is colorless, tasteless, odorless, and extremely heavy in
molecular structure .
Since paraffin is heavy in
molecular weight, it increases the blood supply to the area being
treated and traps moisture from underlying layers of the skin,
resulting in rejuvenated and nourished skin.
Paraffin therapy reduces pain and stiffness around joints by removing
excess fluid from surrounding tissue while providing lubrication.
Paraffin treatments can be done on the hands and the feet! ($10)
*Paraffin treatments are not recommended for people with the following
conditions: Hypertension, diabetes, & varicose veins.*
Far Infrared Sauna
This
method of heating basically heats the person, not the air around
him/her. This sauna is ideal for people who have low tolerance for
intense heat; achieving the same benefits as a conventional steam sauna
at far lower operating temperatures.
This
sauna helps to purify your cells by removing waste and harmful toxins
such as cholesterol, mercury, lead, aluminum, and other heavy metals. Detoxification
occurs at the cellular level, as radiant heat emitted surrounds you and
penetrates deeply into your joints, muscles and tissues, speeding
oxygen flow and increasing circulation.
Infrared heating is also beneficial for weight loss, pore cleansing,
relaxation, faster healing, stronger immune system, lower blood
pressure, and pain reduction, to name a few.

emotions or memories, while others (especially in the form of essential
oils) actually serve more medical purposes.
Some oils actually have the ability to clear sinuses, strengthen the respiratory and immune systems, promote good circulation, improve mental fatigue, balance hormones, stimulate hair growth, and have antibacterial, antidepressant, or anti inflammatory properties, etc... promoting overall health and well being.

Cool Moonstone Facial
The cool moonstone facial is a comprehensive treatment with the use of delightfully warm and refreshingly cool stones.
The application of alternating warm and cool stones is wonderfully
cleansing and rejuvenating for the facial skin and creates a
harmonizing effect on the body. ($10)
Hot Peppermint Towels
Hot towels are a wonderful way to loosen up the tissues before I do any kind of deep work.
I infuse the towels with my own special 'breathe easy' essential oil blend, then heat them in a crock pot and place it on the floor under the face cradle so you can breath in the steamy, minty goodness.
While face down, sinuses tend to drain, so this is an excellent way to open up your airways. ($5)

Homemade Soy
and Beeswax Candles:
Regular paraffin candles produce soot and release harmful toxins into the air that can be damaging to the respiratory system.
This is why I am in the process of making my own candles with lead-free wicks made from soy
and beeswax, both of which are non-toxic, produce
virtually no soot, and burn 50% longer than your average paraffin
candle!
